Dear Legend,

When you come to San Miguel de Allende, a colonial city in the heart of Mexico, you feel like you are stepping back in time. Don't worry, you don't have to forego any of the luxuries of the modern era.

Its large historic façades with massive carved wooden doors give you a taste of the hand-crafted beauty in the city's architecture. Its cobblestone streets, though not meant for walking on heels, add to its charm. Its food can please the pickiest palate. Its arts and culture programs are in vogue. And you can enjoy from the wide variety of hotels and boutiques.

Our favorite part of it is its people. Locals and foreigners alike embrace you in a warm positive feeling that is hard to describe. It's as if anyone who steps out of a taxi with a suitcase in their hands, can't help but smile. It's a family friendly place you don't want to leave.

And if you are looking for blue skies, San Miguel de Allende enjoys great weather year-round.

We hope you will join us on a visual journey of San Miguel de Allende, voted Travel + Leisure Magazine Top City in the World in 2017 and again in 2018 ⤢.
